The Foundation, in the pursuit of its institutional aims, has set itself the goal of sustaining and promoting the spread of a positive image of Parma and its surroundings.
To achieve this, it finances projects and initiatives of its own, as well as initiatives in collaboration with other public and private organizations devoted to the same aim.The Foundation finances initiatives of third parties according to the following program:

• the applicant organizations or persons must reside or operate, on a non-profit basis, in the province of Parma and must be considered capable of managing and completing the initiatives described;
• applications must preferably refer to complete projects with an adequate content, that are generally given priority over generic and scattered requests for contributions;
• evaluation of projects takes into account the tangible and intangible benefits deriving therefrom, also in relation to the cost of their realization;
• applications are examined until all funds have been used.

Assignment of funds to applicants whose projects or initiatives are accepted is subject to the presentation of any additional documentation that may be requested by the Foundation.

According to the terms of the by-laws approved with Ministry decree dated July 24, 2000, new regulations will be drawn up with indications of the criteria according to which projects and initiatives to be financed will be chosen, in order to ensure the transparency of the activity and motivation of the selections as well as the best utilization of the resources.
